What are cookies and local storage?
Cookies are small records stored by your browser that it may attach to requests to the relevant website. Local storage (localStorage) stays in the browser and, unlike cookies, is not automatically sent with every HTTP request.
Necessary records support the requested function. The preference record on this website does not collect advertising or analytics permission; it only determines when the notice should appear again.
Records we use
| Record | Purpose and scope | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
| revenant_admin.sid | First-party cookie for administration sessions and form security, scoped to /admin. It uses HttpOnly, Secure over HTTPS and SameSite=Strict. Visiting the administration sign-in page may also create a security session. | An 8-hour session lifetime; removed on sign-out. Administration session activity may renew the lifetime. |
| revenant.privacy.v1 | First-party localStorage record remembering the “Necessary only” choice in the privacy notice. It stores the version, save time and necessary-function status, without a unique visitor identifier. | The choice is treated as valid for 180 days. The notice appears on the next visit after expiry; clearing browser data may remove it earlier. |
Browsing and your choice
Browsing public pages does not create a Revenant administration session cookie. The browser preference record is saved when you choose to remember “Necessary only”. No separate network request sends this preference record.
There are currently no optional analytics or advertising categories to enable or disable, so no “Accept all” option is offered. Dismissing the notice or continuing to browse does not authorise optional tools that might be added in the future.
Security infrastructure and external links
The website is delivered through Cloudflare, which may process connection and request information for security and traffic delivery. Security checks depend on visit conditions and service configuration. The table above lists the records used by the Revenant application.
Discord, Instagram and other external services are provided as links, not embedded tracking components. When you follow a link, the destination service may apply its own cookies and policies.
How to manage your choice
Use “Cookie preferences” in the footer to reopen the notice. Your browser’s site-data settings let you delete or block cookies and local storage for revenantloncasi.com.
Blocking local storage does not prevent reading the website or submitting an application. The notice may appear again because your choice cannot be remembered. Blocking the administration session cookie may prevent sign-in and security functions in the administration area.
Responsibility and contact
Revenant is the community responsible for the use of these records. Contact info@revenant.com with questions or requests about your personal data. The Privacy Policy and KVKK Privacy Notice explain other processing activities and your rights.
